i had used the PID tuner app for matlab and I got the proportional gain to negative (-474) but integral and derivative gains to be positive. Wat all can be done next in order to know whether my PID controller is physically realisable or not?

Why are you worried that your controller would not be physically realizable? Negative Kp does not mean controller is unstable.

Hi there,
Sorry to bring this old old topics back to live, but could you elaborate a bit on that ?
How do you physically build a PID controller with a negative P gain but positive I & D gains ?
Thanks, Anthony.
