Halo, is there a way that I can convert the dates imported from Excel and then use this to plot graphs? The format from excel is: 11/23/2015, but MATLAB sees this as text data and I cant scatter plot it against a series of number. The error I get is: "Input arguments must be numeric".

Siskia - how do you want to use this date field to plot data? What is the code that you are using to read the data from file and then plot the data? What is the line of code that is generating this error? Please provide more details.

If you are using R2014b or later, you can use readtable() to read the data and it will automatically convert the dates into datetime objects that can be plotted against.
