Why am I getting 'License Manager Error -139' (Licensing error: -139,11603) ~20% of the time?

I have a Matlab client (vR2015b) running in server1, while my license manager (vR2015b) is running in server0. My client communicates with server0 through port 27000 (and port 27000 in server0 has already been setup to allow server1 requests). Most of the time, I have no problem running the Matlab client in server1 (i.e. it is able to check out/in licenses from server0, through port 27000, without problems). However, ~20% of the time, I get the "License Manager Error -139" error shown below (associated with "Licensing error: -139,11603").

What exactly is this error due to? Particularly, what does the "minor" undocumented error # 11603 signify? Please do advice.

This error will occur based on a particular setup your license admins have chosen with your License Server. To correct this, they will need to make the adjustments listed in this article:
