How to interrupt parfeval?

Hello,

I am working on a programm with processes streaming data. Since I cannot do it in realtime, I do it in slices: While a parallel subrouting works on the last data, I collect the newest ones with an asynchronous parfeval.

Question: I would like to put the endless data collection loop inside the parfeval to an end once the cluster is available again for a new computation iteration.

Currently I realized this via a file where I set a single bit (requiring try-catch since there might be concurring events of reading and writing). So, not very ellegant at all. Is there an easy to use alternative?
