how can i import my excel data into matlab through script ??

i'm having some problem to import my excel data into matlab through script, as my excel file contains quite complex data so please tell me how should i do that.. i've attached my excel data file.. please find it enclosed and help me through

   num  = xlsread('leak_data.xlsx');

Now num will be only the numeric part, rows 2 to 13. The empty parts of columns 4, 5, and 6 will have NaN stored in them.
