I am creating a simulink program. In it I have one button to run a m file called plotresults.m which will plot the results. There is also another button I have to save the results from that in figure form preferably both .fig and a standard image format like jpg.
I want to do this saveresults program by calling the plotresults to create the plots and then have a user inputted filename to save all the plots.
for example:
run (plotresults), prompt user for test name, save all as .fig using 'testname-power.fig' , 'testname-current.fig' and so on, then do the same as jpgs close all plots
Is this even possible? Im trying to avoid having the same code in two mfiles incase I want to add to it and avoid doing everything twice.
