There is mentioned in product description that SimPowerSystems automatically constructs the differential algebraic equations (DAEs). How exactly does system construct these equations. Is it using for example node or loop method ? Is there a way to find out which solution simulation is using ?

There are now 2 different technologies in Simscape Electrical, Specialized Power Systems and Simscape™. When using Specialized Power systems, the user can see the circuit differential equations by ticking the box ‘Display circuit differential equations’ in powergui block.
