When I view the surf plot of a 2D data, it looks normal from any single angle but when I start to rotate it, matlab automatically scales it to fit the screen. For example if I look at it along the axes, the image will be magnified more; but when I rotate it to be diagonal, the image will be less magnified.
I need to be able to rotate it and keep the magnification constant. I would rather have the plot take up half the screen when looked along the axes so that when I rotate to look diagonally, it would not need to change magnification.
