Hi, I'm currently new to Matlab and I am making a histogram which I have done successfully, I used the following example from matlab http://uk.mathworks.com/help/stats/hist3.html. However, for the first example of the histogram (in the link provided) I wish to know have to change the intensity map to actually represent an image or be in different colour rather than the default blue. The intention is then to display the histogram data on top of the image rather than just having a blue plane. Any ideas how I do this?
Thank you in advance.

Try setting the 'FaceColor' and/or 'EdgeColor' property to some other color.
