Controlling MAXON EPOS 3 / MAXPOS Controller using EtherCAT with Simulink Real Time

8 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
If anybody has experience with working on MAXON EPOS 3 / MAXPOS controllers with EtherCAT using Simulink Real Time, please see if you can find what is causing this problem.
I have set up my EtherCAT network to work with SIMULINK Real Time and it works will when ONE controller is used. As I increase the number of controllers, the setup / design / compile process works well. The model runs on the SIMULINK real time fine, however, the real time computer hangs up after a while.
I have confirmed that all settings are correct, and everything works perfect when I use one controller. When I add more controllers the problem starts.
Thanks.

this was a known error in Matlab versions 2015b and below. It has been removed in newer versions.

Hi, alpha. I have some problems on using the Beckhoff and CANopen protocol to control the MAXON motor, do you have any experience about this? Expect your apply, thank you!
