Good day to all. I am a BSc student writing a Matlab code to solve interface problems. I have already obtained the exact and the approximate solutions. I wish to compute the L2 norm and H1 norm in order to complete my code but I don't know how to go about it.
I need your help please!
thanks!

L2 norm is euclidean distance. You can use pdist() or pdist2() if you have the Statistics toolbox, or you can use norm(A-B)
It appears that http://www.dim.uchile.cl/~lsaavedr/archivos/programacion/python/getfem/matlab_interface.pdf Getfem++ offers a MATLAB interface and can calculate H1 norm.
