Hello,
RoadRunner 2025b. Ubuntu 22.04
I am trying to export an .xodr if this simple map. But the .xodr is faulted.
When looking at it in the .xodr viewer or importing in CARLA I can see, that the roads do have only one direction even though I have added a backwards and forward lane (at least in my opinion the map looks good in Roadrunner). Also running the map in CARLA with a script results in an error.
Since I am completely new in RoadRunner I am wondering what I am missing?
Could please someone check if you have the same issue and what might be the cause of it?
I would be very thankful since I am trying to debug it since a couple of days.
Best regards!
Here is the scene file since matlab doesn´t support the upload of .rrscene:

Hi Volker,
Have you checked the exported .xodr file with a text editor as well? I tested this on my side by exporting an OpenDRIVE file from a simple scene similar to yours, and the exported file follows the OpenDRIVE standard for driving direction.
As described in the OpenDRIVE specification, “the driving direction is specified by a combination of different elements and attributes” (11.2.1 Driving direction):
When exporting a scene with Driving Side = Right, the standard states that:
  • Lanes in the <right> element with negative @id follow the positive direction of the road reference line.
  • Lanes in the <left> element with positive @id run against the reference line.
In my test scene, the generated .xodr file matched this behavior and was consistent with how the lanes appear in RoadRunner. This suggests that the issue may be related to how the OpenDRIVE viewer interprets lane direction.

Thank you very much for the response!
Actually just 10 minutes ago we solved the issue. It was not a Roadrunner issue. It was CARLA that had been compiled wrong.
