Is MATLAB supported on Windows on ARM devices?

Windows devices using ARM hardware, such as the Snapdragon X Elite, have two ways to run applications. Applications built for Windows on ARM run natively, while apps built for x86-64 processors run in the Prism emulator. Is MATLAB supported on Windows ARM devices?

MATLAB R2026a is supported on Windows on ARM devices through the Prism emulator. Earlier releases of MATLAB may run but are not fully qualified, and support for running MATLAB is limited. MATLAB does not currently run natively on Windows ARM devices.

The following MathWorks products are not supported on Windows ARM hardware

• Simulink Desktop Real-Time
• Simulink 3D Animation Blockset
• Vehicle Dynamic Blockset

The following capabilities across MathWorks products are not supported on Windows ARM hardware

• QEMU
• AVX extensions (supported using Windows 11 25H2 and beyond)
• Tensorflow
• Bioinformatics Toolbox features that leverage the following third-party libraries(BWA, Bowtie2, and Cufflinks)
• Third-party hardware interfaces
