I need to export a PLot contain so many 3D ellipsoids into Solidworks Or ANSYS. Is there any solution to convert this plot? Any suggestion is really appreciated.

Hi, Did you have a solution for this problem. I have the same issue. I want to export 3D spheres generated in Matlab to ANSYS or Abaqus. BR

The best way of doing this is to export the coordinates and the sizes, then making them again in Solidworks or ANSYS designmodeler. I couldn`t find a proper way of doing this and exporitng the geometry.
Hope this answer helps.

My experience is mostly in Ansys, however, I think the process is going to be the same with other numerical software. I think the best approtch is that you make an ellipsoidal geometry in Abaqus while recording macro. This way, you can find what commands are used for making geometry and then use that in your script and loop that over. I usualy use Excel as database and put that in intraction with numerical software for reading inputs. I suggest that you read this paper that I have published sometimes back regarding this process.
Good luck!!
