Missing Library for decoder in regenerative braking model
Show older comments
I'm a relatively novice user of matlab.
I'm currently trying to run this model/simulation that is for a regenaritve braking model. I've hit this snag where the decoder in the model says "DriveInternalModel" not found. I've been trying to figure out or not if this library needs to be installed, if the model is incorrect, or if it's something else. This is the error code.
Error:Failed to load library 'AC7DriveInternalModels' referenced by 'BLDC_Battery_2018/Controller/Decoder'.

This is also the image of the source block.
Here is a link to the model from the file sharing site: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/90411-bidirectional-vsi-based-regenerative-braking-for-bldc-motor
Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Saul,
I tried running it on the latest versions—R2024b, R2025a, and R2025b—but I am still getting the same error. It must have been removed from later versions.
If needed, you can connect with MathWorks Support using the following link: https://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us.html
Hope this helps!
Thanks
