I have the 2024 version of solidworks and I want to import a cad assembly into matlab. How can I do this since the add in feature is no longer valid for newer solidworks

To import a CAD Assembly from SolidWorks to MATLAB, you can use the “Simscape Multibody Link” plug-in on your SolidWorks installation to export the CAD Assemblies from SolidWorks in an XML format and use the “smimport” function to import the XML file into MATLAB.

Hi Abhiram - in the Simscape Multibody Link installation page it says that versions of Solidworks 2022 or higher are not supported. Is there a way to actually export assembly as XML files and import the assembly into MATLAB for Solidworks that is more recent than 2021? Most students that started after 2021 only have access to more recent Solidworks.
