when dowmloading rtl-sdr hardware support package

after downloading support package can not finish the download. i get a error saying can not detect rtl-sdr and says to insert into port.when the sdr is already plugged in.how too troubleshoot that

Some USB 3 ports do not recognize the RTL-SDR radio correctly and can result in a connection error. This is a known limitation documented at the following documentation link:

The following are the three workarounds that you can try on your end:

1. In the MATLAB Command Prompt, execute the following command:

sdrsetup

2. Uninstall the device drivers from your computers. Then, try to setup the RTL-SDR radio from scratch. While doing so, please use the instructions given at the following documentation link:

3. Try setting-up and using the RTL-SDR radio on a different computer, preferably with a USB 2 connection.
