How can I disable the 'select a website' pop-up every time I open the MATLAB help documentation?

Recently, every time I open the help documentation while using MATLAB R2023b, a pop-up appears asking me to "select a website." I select my country (Simplified Chinese), and my browser automatically redirects to the Chinese MathWorks website, but the help documentation remains blank. If I choose any other country or region, the pop-up reappears immediately.
A few months ago, I didn’t encounter this issue with MATLAB. I tried uninstalling MATLAB R2023b and reinstalling R2024a, but the problem persists. I noticed that as far back as 2017, someone asked on the MathWorks community, “How to disable 'select your country' pop up on mathworks site?” However, this issue remains unresolved. Suggestions to fix it by setting browser cookies haven’t worked for me. My default Google Chrome settings already allow cookies, yet the "select a website" pop-up keeps appearing.
Lately, it seems many others have been experiencing this frustrating issue. Is there any effective way to disable this pop-up entirely?

@Anran Li and @Star Strider, are either of you still seeing this issue? We pushed out a fix on December 18th, so please let us know if it hasn't been addressed for you.

@Michelle Hirsch — I’ve not experienced the problem because I tend to use only the online documentation, since the documentation is not downloaded on installation. I have all the latest updates installed (currently Update 3), so II doubt if I’ll see the problem. For my part, I was intent on providing an appropriate solution with the lilnk I posted.
