Rotational spring and torque source not correct

6 views (last 30 days)
Hey,
I have made this model in Siemens NX where a disk is driven by een torque controlled motor. This disc is also connected to a torsion spring, so when the motor gives a certain amount of torque, the torsion spring will bend to a specific angle. In Siemens NX this works because when I give the system 12.536Nm of torque the spring rotates 31 degrees. This is the value the spring manufacturar mentioned on that spring.
Now I want to recreate that system in Matlab Simscape, but the angle value does not match. Is there something missing?
Thank you for helping and if you have question, I happily answer them!
'Screen01': This is my Simscape model
'Screen02': The torque profile that is send to the torque source (this profile is the same as 'Screen06')
'Screen03': This is the output, rotation of the spring (not the same as 'Screen07')
'Screen04': This is the Siemens NX simulation file, where you can see the inertia in the z-rotation
'Screen05': Here you can see the spring constant in Siemens NX
'Screen06': This is the applied torque to the system
'Screen07': This is de measured rotational displacement for the spring

I have already fixed it, I mistyped the torque parameter. The model is correct

20% of the work is modeling ... 80% is parametrization :)
happy modeling
