Hints on - How to develope a simulink LEGO-EV3 block for the Glide Wheel - Angle Sensor (Mindsensors)?

1 view (last 30 days)
As I´m aware, the kernel running on the LEGO-EV3 supports the Glide Wheel AS through a I2C device driver. I would like to use the Glide Wheel AS in a simulink model. Can anyone please give me some hints on how to develope this simulink block?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Skovagaard,
I have the same problem here. But the solution from Mischa Kim does not work for me. I have to use four motors and an additional angular sensor.
Did you find another solution for the GlideWheel AS Sensor?
Best regards Benedict

Skovsgaard, we will shortly release a demo package on File Exchange demonstrating the modeling process of a rotary pendulum implemented on LEGO Mindstorms EV3 and NXT. The encoders are GlideWheel-M. I will let you know when the package becomes available.

Hi Mischa Kim, Great news! Unfortunately I am on short time schedule. I will try to use the gyro-sensor from LEGO in my application in stead of the angle sensor. But I would appreciate a heads up when your demo package is available. Thanks.
