How can I freeze or stop interaction of the background MATLAB and SIMULINK windows until my dialog(progressbar) is open?

while my progressbar is running I want to disable or block interaction with the toolbar or whole background. How can I achieve it?

I am still not sure of the use-case of the this desired behaviour. Is it creating some hindrance in your workflow? Could you let me know the details?

Flagged by Rushabh on 5 Sep 2024 at 12:34. For example if something is loading, we should not be able to make any changes in background. But here, Since my progress bar is not completed. Still I am able to make changes in the background's SIMULINK window.

You can use uiwait to block the execution of MATLAB and SIMULINK.
