please i have this question i can do the integral function part but have problem doing simpsons rule please i need help
Question; A cone shaped cup has brim r=1.5 height L=4. water cup level is l and volume is given by; V= pi/3 (R/L)^2 * l^3 if the volumetric rate q(dV/dt) from fountain to cup is 2, how long will it take to fill cup to brim. matlab code using simpsons method with h= 0.1 and compare it using integral function. output both estimates.
here is my code for integral function;
V=(pi/3)*(R/L)^2 * l^3;
I= integral(V,R,L)
i doubt its right but please some help would be great.
