'failure to load device plug-in' in MATLAB/Simulink for Vector VN1610 CAN interface.

I am trying to connect an external CAN bus channel into my simulink simulation model using a Vector VN1610 CAN gateway. This is supported by the Vehicle Network Toolbox in Simulink. I have installed all Vector drivers, per instructions, and MATLAB is able to recognize the device. When I place a CAN Communcation configuration block and select the VN1610 from the available channel list I get a 'failure to load device plug-in' error. I have also tried with a Vector CANCaseXL Log with the same result. Are these devices still supported? I cannot find anything in the Add-On Explorer either. Same results in different versions of MATLAB.
Vehicle Network Toolbox has detected a supported Vector device. You may:
1. Obtain the hardware support package via Add-On Explorer, if drivers are needed.
2. Verify device availability with canChannelList, if the device is ready for use.

Hi Sam, I see that you are encountering a "failure to load device plug-in" error when trying to connect the Vector VN1610 CAN interface or a Vector CANCaseXL Log to MATLAB via the Vehicle Network Toolbox.
This issue is often related to compatibility between the MATLAB Vehicle Network Toolbox and the Vector device drivers installed on your system. You can refer to the following MATLAB Answers post for further help: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/380804-why-do-i-get-the-error-failure-to-load-the-device-plug-in-when-connecting-to-a-can-device
I hope this answer will help resolve your issue.
