I cannot get different drive cycles to work with the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) model in Simscape

I've been using a HEV model by Isaac Ito from this page here:
I have specifically been using the 1.4.0 version and I've realised that no other drive cycle but the orignal that comes with the model works. I've been trying to use this model to simulate a F1 car going around Circuit De Catalunya but even before changing the parameters of the HEV, not even the stock drive cycles given by MATLAB works such as FTP75 works.
I figured this was a fairly popular model and maybe others have come across this issue as well.

Hi Boniface,
As described in the pages for the example you're referencing, that model is an example to help you learn important Simscape modeling constructs such as referenced subsystems. It has some great capabilities to show those workflows, but you would need to do some work to extend it to other use cases such as an F1 car going around a track.
Have you reviewed the models that you can configure with the Virtual Vehicle Composer? The app can configure Simulink or Simscape plant models, depending on your preference, and comes with several subsystem controllers and a driver model you might need for your application. It will also give you options to run ~60 different drive cycles, select from a dozen different powertrain options, or include lateral dynamics (steering, suspension, driver, etc.), depending on your use case. It might be worth exploring to see if that's a good starting point for your racing application.
