I am using the DAQ toolbox to generate ananlogue output with my NI-6351 PCIe-card. In the cards specification I found that I can use an external reference to set the range of my analogue voltage output. This is necessary for me in order to reach a high resolution of my output signal. When setting the output range in the Matlab interface I was however onyl able to set it to +-5V or +-10V. Is there any way to set it to use the external reference?

Hello Samuel,
You can try utilizing the NI-DAQmx Support Package from the Data Acquisition Toolbox which allows National Instruments devices to enable features such as Analog Input and Output and further use the external reference configuration of the PCIe-635. You can refer to the below documentation to know more about the specifications of PCIe-6351 and how to use external references in NI-DAQmx:
To use the NI-DAQmx Support Package, you first need to check the system requirements and compatibility from the below documentation:
Hope this helps!
