Hello everyone,
I have created a scenario using the "Driving Scenario Designer" app. I want to visualize this scenario in Simulink, using the "Simulation 3D Scene Configuration" block.
Since both Driving Scenario Designer and Simulation 3D Scene Configuration use Unreal Engine, I thought that this would be possible, but I am not sure if I am missing something, since I could not connect these two.
Thanks in advance

Hi Fernando! Here is a couple of documentation pages that detail the process of visualizing a Driving Scenario Designer scenario in a 3D Simulation environment:
When authoring driving scenarios that you later recreate in the 3D simulation environment, you must use a road network identical to one from the default 3D scenes. Otherwise, in the recreated scenario, the positions of vehicles and sensors are inaccurate. To select a 3D scene, on the app toolstrip, select Open > Prebuilt Scenario > Simulation3D and choose from the available scenes. Not all 3D scenes have corresponding versions in the app.
Let me know if you run into any issues and I'd be happy to help!

Hi Fernando,
One option to visualize your scenario using a custom road network in a 3D simulation environment is to use RoadRunner Scenario:
Alternatively, you can use RoadRunner Scene Builder to export your driving scenario as a RoadRunner Scene or use RoadRunner to build out your scene. Once you have a RoadRunner scene, you can use the Simulation 3D Scene Configuration block and specify RoadRunner as the scene source to use the road network that you have built. Then, recreate the scenario in Simulink for the 3D Unreal Engine environment but use the RoadRunner Scene as the scene source instead of using a pre-built scene.
I hope that helps!
