Is there anyway I can get back the information I had in my Command window after using "clc" and closing the app?
I'm pretty new to matlab and I thought by saving the file I save the command windows information as well as the variables.

Note by the way that the command window is not considered to be associated with any particular .m file . If you switch editor tabs to get to a different file, you do not get a different command window.

      Hi @Rana
You can press the Up Arrow key (↑) to navigate the Command History.
However, unsaved variables and data in the Workspace will be cleared after closing MATLAB. You can save variables from workspace to file by using the save() command.

From MATLAB windows go to the menu Layout -> Command History -> Dock. You then have a tab "Command History" appears on the right side. Click on that you have then a big chunk of cmmand history that you can copy and past. Click on the tab gain will minimize it.
