Configure satellite link budget analyzer for a constellation for constellation

Is it possible to add satellite links for a constellation using the satellite link budget analyzer app? As far as I am concerned it only allows you to change or add parameters but not additional satellite and ground station links.

Hello Dale,
I understand you want to add additional satellites or ground station links apart from the default satellites or stations present in the Satellite Link Budget Analyzer.
The Satellite Link Budget Analyzer app is specifically designed to calculate the link budget for a given satellite communication system by considering parameters like satellite and ground station characteristics. However, it does not provide the functionality to add or simulate additional satellite and ground station links within the app itself.
By default, the app includes the following communication links:
  • Link L1 is an uplink between ground station G1 and satellite S1.
  • Link L3 is a crosslink between satellite S3 and satellite S4.
  • Link L2 is a downlink between satellite S2 and ground station G2.
To analyze a constellation with multiple satellite links, you would need to perform separate link budget calculations for each individual satellite link and ground station pair. By repeating this process for each link in the constellation, you can obtain the link budgets for the entire system.
Kindly refer to the following MATLAB documentation for further understanding on the 'Satellite Link Budget Analyzer' app
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Gowtham
