Hello,
I understand that you're looking to install MATLAB R2022a on a Linux cluster, but you're currently without root access. Typically, root access is required for such an installation. However, in circumstances where root or SSH access to computing nodes is unavailable, there are still a few potential solutions you might consider.
If you have access to a similar Linux system, you could install MATLAB there first. Then, perform a portable installation by transferring the entire MATLAB directory to your cluster.
Please refer this link for more information regarding the installation process.
Alternatively, for less computation-intensive tasks, you could consider using MATLAB Online, which allows you to use MATLAB via a web browser without needing to install it.
I hope these suggestions provide clarity and assist you in finding a suitable workaround for your situation.
Best Regards,
Asim Asrar
