How to add personal email address to log in?

I am currently using my university email address to access the MathWorks website because it is linked to the organization's licenses for Matlab. However, I have discovered that there is no option available to add an additional email address for sign-in purposes. The university plans to recycle my current email address within 28 days after I leave the institution. This situation implies that I will no longer be able to log in to my MathWorks account using this email address and will lose all the progress I have made on this website.

Is it possible to add an additional email address, similar to the way PayPal does it? This would allow both email addresses to be used for logging into the same account, with the user having the option to select their primary email address.

You can only link one single email address to your account. You can change it yourself on this page:

https://www.mathworks.com/mwaccount/profiles/edit

I will see if I can bring this suggestion to the attention to Mathworks, since I expect this is a fairly common occurence. It might be tricky because of licences being automagically linked depending on the email domain name.

MATLAB Drive provides ways to download files.

Progress against courses is recorded against your MATLAB Central profile, which is not required to have an active license. @Rik has pointed you to the place you can edit your email address to be able to continue to use your MATLAB Central profile.

I suspect that you will be losing access to a university-supplied MATLAB license. If so, that will affect your access to MATLAB Online, and your ability to use MATLAB.

If, however, you purchased your own Student license, then leaving the university does not directly affect the license. Student licenses are "perpetual" -- in one sense, you can continue to use them indefinitely. But only while registered at an appropriate degree-granting university. That is not technologically enforced: it is a license term; Mathworks might potentially ask you to show that you are currently enrolled if you continue to use a Student license more than 5 years.
