Arduino Uno R4 Wifi Port Problem

Hello, everyone,

I am trying to install the Arduino hardware support package and at the step "Test Arduino Connection", Download failed is shown up (in the image). Moreover, I am getting the data from Arduino Uno R3, but when I try to get from Arduino Uno R4 Wifi, I get an error (mentioned in the same image), I don't know why I am getting the error. However, when I first tried R3 board I was getting the same error but it got fixed and was able to get the data. With Arduino Uno R4 Wifi, I am unable to fix the problem despite simulink is detecting port very well. I request you all to help me in fixing the problem.

I'm having the same issue on the UNO R4 minima (not wifi). I have Matlab/Simulink 2023a. Will need a college IT admin update to 2024a. I'm guessing the arduino support package will need updating.

We've run through the troubleshooting steps above. Matlab sees the arduino on specific port then cannot see it on that manually specified port. The programs used worked on an arduino UNO R3.

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the error message? If not then Please try out the following troubleshooting steps as mentioned in the error message to resolve the error.

1. Install or Update the Arduino board driver and try again.
2. Try to enter the host COM port number manually.
3. Ensure that the selected board and serial port are correct.
4. Reconnect the board and repeat the hardware setup process again.
5. Ensure that the USB cable is working and the board is not faulty.
6. Ensure that no other application on your computer is using the serial port of the board.

I have the same problem with an Arduino Uno R4 Wifi board, which is probably not supported yet. Please if someone has managed to Install/Upload Arduino Server, with Serial libraries included on a Arduino Uno R4 Wifi, let us know how to do it!
