How to do these proces in image processing

Hi everyone i m working on some project,

In that image i already in the "skew angle determination" process

Now i m wondering how to do the enchancement, derotation and find a local maximum determinantoion?

I want to extrack the warp and weft of that 3D surface of fabric. Thank you so much. Your help will be very helpfull.
