PMSM Parameters Estimation with F280049C and DRV8305

Hello everybody,

I want to estimate my PMSM parameters with a TI F280049C (LaunchPad) and BOOSTXL-DRV8305 inverter. The PMSM I want to use have Hall sensors. I found a model which uses the F28379D with the same inverter I'm using.

Due to the different target I cannot use this model for my problem and don't know how I can make it able to run on my hardware.

On ' https://de.mathworks.com/help/mcb/gs/estimate-pmsm-parameters-using-recommended-hardware.html ' I couldn't understand how I can change the blocks to be suitable for my setup.

Can anybody help me?

Hi Baris,

As mentioned in the 'Supported Hardware' section of the documentation Estimate PMSM Parameters Using Recommended Hardware, only 'LAUNCHXL-F28379D' with the configuration:

• LAUNCHXL-F28379D controller
• BOOSTXL-DRV8305 inverter
• A PMSM with a Hall or a quadrature encoder sensor
• DC power supply

is supported by the example.
