Create custom flight file

We are working on gyro-free inertial navigation and I watched the tutorial about Flight Log Analysis.

I need to create a Custom Flight Log data with a trajectory and parameters like linear and angular acceleration, etc.

I tried Visualize Custom Flight Log at https://www.mathworks.com/help/uav/ug/visualize-custom-flight-log.html

At the very beginning it is said "Load Custom Flight Log" but I need to CREATE the log file.

I would really appreciate your help.

I don’t have the UAV Toolbox (and have no direct experience with UAVs), however it seems that the UAV creates its own flight log. You can then use Flight Log Analysis to access it and work with it.

Hi Alexander,

MATLAB does not have a built-in flight log file format.

To visualise custome flight log and explore Flight Log Analyzer you can run the following command in command window to load an existing example ulog file:

ulg= ulogreader('flight.ulg')
