Does function wthrmngr work correctly?

Dear wavelet toolbox users,
I need to find best denoising settings (DWT vs SWT, fixed-form vs penalised threshold, soft vs hard). I got into problem computing thresholds for SWT.
  1. How can I compute the fiexd form and penalised thresholds for different sigmas?
  2. Function "wthrmngr" gives different threshold vaues as wavemenu GUI! For example: thfunc=wthrmngr('sw2ddenoLVL','penallo',swc,1.5) does not give the same value as wavemenu GUI choosing "Penalise low". Which is the right one? The issue was pointed out already here. Unfortunatelly no answer.
  3. Is the mathematical background for penalised threshold for SWT same as for DWT - which is documented here ?
Any prompt respond would be highly apprecated! Thank you in advance.
Nice sunny day on, Maja
