How do I uninstall an older version of MATLAB after I have installed a newer version on my Mac OSX?

On my Mac OS 12.5.1 (21G83), the older version of matlab I have installed and used before was 2019b.

I then installed Matlab 2022b.

Both are working.

Now I need to uninstall 2019b.

How should I proceeed?

In the other post people say I need to deactivate matlab before moving the matlab icon to trash. But does this affect the new isntallation of 2022b?

No don't disactivate MATLAB, just uninstall 2019b.

Activation is common for all installed versions. Many versions can be installed concurrently on the same computer.

Bruno is correct. You aren't using up additional activations on your license when you activate different releases of MATLAB to the same computer.
