problem installing new version of matlab

i get this error every time i try to install the new Matlab, i have tried to turn off firewall, antivirus and delete the older version.

But nothing helps.

What happens if you use the Downloading without Installing option from the Advanced Options section? Does that work? If it doesn't try it on a different computer and then transfering the offline installer it creates.

when i go to the Advanced Options section i cant chose "Downloading without Installing option".

but i do not understand this is not the first time i have installed matlab, i have been using it on this computer since 2017 and almost all versions.

I'm sorry you didn't see or follow my instructions below. If you had, you would have had it working by now. Do it Monday.

i got it working, some how it could not install in the chosen folder, and i needed a subfolder before it worked.

I tried that because I installed an older version with an old installation file, which gave me the the massage that the folder did not work as the destination folder, which the 2022b did not.

OK. What folder did you try? The root folder? I can maybe see that because it doesn't want the MATLAB files to be included with all the other various files in the root folder that are not MATLAB-related? Or was it a subfolder? What OS were you using? If Windows, did you not want it to go into the standard, suggested folder under Program Files\MATLAB?
