How to import a dataset in .mat file for data pre-processing?

29 views (last 30 days)
i have a dataset in .mat file and all the variables have different dimensions which is shown below. First i want to import and view all the variables along with the datas in table output type. so that i can proceed for data preprocessing.
i tried with csv file , it can import directly and can view the csv file in the table output type but not able to import .mat file . Can anyone help me out with this issue?
I want to import the .mat file and want to view all the variables inside the .mat files along with the values.

Hi, your question is confusing, I'm afraid. You want to import a mat file - into MATLAB? But from your screenshot it seems like you already have the data in MATLAB, so "load('yourDataFile.mat')" you already know. So you could inspect all the data in MATLAB with no trouble. But you don't want to do it in MATLAB? It's really a mystery.

@Jiri Hajek sir if i import a dataset in csv file then i can choose the "output type" option such as table and can display in a table format (all variables along with thier values columnwise).
since my dataset is in .mat file format and when i tried to import the .mat file , "import wizard" window pops up which is shown below. when i click the finish button it shows a blank window.
Sir my question is how to import the .mat file and display like a table format(all the variables along with the values columnwise) or if possible convert it to a csv file (all variables along with thier values columnwise).
Morever i have tried converting this .mat file to csv file (containing all variables in one csv file) but not working.
