Text in editor window suddenly vanishes in R2022b.

I've run into lots of strange behavior using R2022a and R2022b on my MacOS Monterey 12.6.1, and until now it's been mostly just a minor annoyance, but today as I was working on a script, the text suddenly vanished without warning:
There doesn't seem to be any way to reactivate the editor window or current state of my script. It's just blank.
Any tips for getting my work back before I close MATLAB?

I would definitely do a SaveAs to another filename in case the data is still there but just not showing. Use a different filename in case the data is actually gone so you can at least get back to where you were at the last save.

I wish I could, but "Save", Cmd+S, "Save All", and "Save As" do absolutely nothing. The "Save Copy As" option briefly provides false hope, as it opens a window to save a copy of the file, but when I try to save a copy, nothing gets saved.

I wish that I had a better suggestion. Good luck.
