Is MQTT functionality implemented for 3rd party applications?

Is MQTT functionality designed to work only with Thingspeak or any 3rd party application in general? Which toolbox(es) is the functionality included in?

Theindustrial communication toolbox includes MQTT interfaces. ThingSpeak maintains an MQTT broker that you can interact with to store and retrieve data from your channels.

Thanks for answering. Can you confirm if one can use MQTT functionality in IndComm toolbox to subscribe and publish to any MQTT client in general, not in thingspeak?

The ICOMM MQTT functionality will work with any MQTT broker not just ThingSpeak.
