Addition of noise at the receiver based on SNR

As per the article --> SNR Definition Used in Link Simulations
We can use the below mentioned formula to add noise when we assume , which means we need to set the property NormalizeChannelOutputs property of the channel objects to true

If we set NormalizeChannelOutputs to false, then also can we use the equation (1) to add noise at the receiver?
It would be helpful if you can help me on this.

Hi Sanju,
You cannot set the "NormalizeChannelOutputs" to false. This property of the channel objects when true normalizes the channel outputs by the number of receiver antennas as assumed in the derivation of noise power.
