Is it possible to use external data in Satellite links for link budget analysis ?

I am trying to simulate communication between two LEO satellites via the ground station. I need to do this using real data that is external to Mathworks. i.e. Video, audio or pdf file exchange between two stations using a satellite communication link. Is there a library that can help to achieve this ? References will be very useful.
