Does changing the phase of the variable phase shifter in MATLAB Simulink causes the amplitude of the continuous wave to change as well?

Dear Sir,
i will like to know Does changing the phase of the variable phase shifter in MATLAB Simulink causes the amplitude of the continuous wave to change as well?
I have attached a Simulink model in this question that i have raised.
Thus please help.

Hi,
If by continuous wave, you mean "I", then, answer is yes. However, it makes more sense that the amplitude is sqrt(I^2+Q^2) which will stay constant by changing the phase shift. In general, the phase shifter only changes the phasor and has nothing to do with the amplitude, so it remains constant. Please see the attached screenshot for verification:
