Hi,
I want to exit a background program after I started it using MATLAB code. do you know how to do it?
My start up code was:
str1=['!ITK-SNAP.exe -g "',dir1,'" -s "',dir2,'" &'];
eval(str1);
Do you know how to terminate the program?

It would probably be better to have your program terminate itself. However, if you are on Windows you can kill it using taskkill. Something like this:
!taskkill /im ITK-SNAP.exe
