Help needed on Simulink onRamp tutorial on Discrete Systems the very first Task.

18 views (last 30 days)
Hi,
This is my first time with Matlab. I was going through the Simulink OnRamp tutorial for Discrete systems.
All I have to do is add a SineWave source with sample time of 0.25 and connect this signal to Signal Assessment block.
It keeps throwing error --> Inputs must be 2D
When I checked the solution, there is a check box below sample time, which says Interpret vector as 1D. However, I do not see this checkbox, when I double click on the SineWave block.
Please guide.

Hi Gautam,
As per my understanding you want to change the Sample Time to 0.25 and you are unable to find the same in Signal Assessment Block.
I recommend you start a fresh with the steps below which would help you to understand better.
You need to drag and drop a sine wave block from Library>sources>sine wave and double click on it to open Signal Assessment Block. Once you are on it, scroll down to find the ‘Sample timeand their update it to 0.25 as required.
To summarize, Place sine wave block> double click to open Signal Assessment Block>scroll down>update Sample time to 0.25.
You can refer to the image above for detailed information.
