Please let me know how to calculate the mean value of a kernel density. For example, if I construct the kernel density plot for a given dataset x1, x2, ......, xn, I want to find the value of x that gives the highest peak

Devinya. The mean and the location of the highest peak are two different things. Which do you want?
Also, I have answered this question for you in two other Answers. You can find them in my answer list, in the Questions that you posted to.
