SimScape Electrical block error for a basic circuit

3 views (last 30 days)
I am very new to SimScape Electrical, so I wanted to test it out using a basic circuit. I built the following circuit then clicked "Run" in SimScape Electrical to simulate the circuit and gather electrical data, but I got an error message that "Each physical network must be connected to exactly one Solver Configuration block. There is no Solver Configuration block connected to Physical Network with the following blocks." I have copied my circuit below, highlighting the block that the error message references
Can someone explain what this error message means, and how to avoid it when building future circuits? Thank you all for your time.

Hi,
You need two things in this model to make it work.
  1. A solver configuration block
  2. An electrical reference that you can connect to the negative terminal of the DC Voltage Source
I hope this helps.
