Simulink toolbars missing 2022a

I am using MacOS Monterey 12.4 and Matlab 2022a. The Simulink toolbars are missing and I have tried the fix suggested: restoredefaultpath, rehash toolboxcache and sl_refreshcustomizations. This does not work. Tried re-installing Matlab. That too did not work. Any help is welcome.

In MATLAB r2021b and r2022a there is a known bug where if you start MATLAB with existing editor windows open, you don't get most of the tool ribbon tabs. The first 3 tabs of the toolbar are there but the remaining 4 are not there. To get the missing tools, you have to click in the command window and then in your editor window and then all the missing tabs automatically appear. Not sure if there is something similar in Simulink because I don't have that product.

Thank you. While that approach did not work, I took the cue to install 2021a instead and deleted the 2022a. This version works. I hope Mathworks sorts out this bug.
