Use of example models in the library, conflict of ownership?

Dear Matlab community,
my name is Myriam Covarrubias Guarneros. I am currently doing my Ph.D. in systems engineering.
It is my interest to use the fuel cell preset model found in the library of simulink/simscape (https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/sps/powersys/ref/fuelcellstack.html) for integrate it in a bigger system that uses other components (gas storage, battery...). The results obtained will be meant to be used for a paper publication in a scientific journal. My question are: would the use of the model have a conflict of ownership? Has someone used a preset model in a paper publication?
Thank you everyone in advance for your time and I am looking forward for your feedback.

Hi Myriam,
I understand that you are interested in using the "fuel cell preset" model from the Simulink/Simscape library for integration into a larger system for your research and you are concerned about potential conflicts of ownership.
For information about publishing work in a scientific paper that includes features or models from MATLAB, please refer to the following discussion link:-
Moreover, to understand how to correctly cite MATLAB and its toolboxes in your bibliography or a published journal, you can visit the link provided below. This will provide guidance on the recommended citation format:-
I hope it helps,
Thanks and regards,
Akash.
