The G29 Simulink-Block shows a communication error/status (-1) during simulation run.
Logitech driver installed and works (Win10 OS); Realtime Toolbox available; steering wheel connected by USB
Is there something i missed?
Thanks

This can be done using the Simulink real time module and using the joystick. Full disclosure, the company in south Africa Optimum solved this for me

Hi OMA,
The error during simulation run while communicating with Logitech G29 steering wheel using Simulink "G29 Simulink-Block" could be because of the fact that the "G29 Simulink-Block" can only be used if the steering wheel is connected to a Simulink Real-Time target machine (Speedgoat). It does not execute when the model is simulated on a host PC.
As a workaround, for desktop simulation, you can consider using the simulink "joystick input block".
Further, you can use the following references on the use of 'speedgoat' with SIMULINK Real-Time:
Hope this resolves your issue
Thanks

"As a workaround, for desktop simulation, you can consider using the simulink "joystick input block". " Is there any step by step procedure for this? Similar quetions have been askedon MAthworks platform but there seems to be no definite answer. Can you please offer any assistance on this?
Thanks
